Buy it in a Dublin shop. Have it this evening.
Look for the hop badge when you check out. If it’s there, the shop has it in stock and a rider can bring it to you today.
I run a shop What it costsBuy from a hop shop
Order before the shop’s cut-off from any shop showing the badge.
They pack it in store
Straight off the shelf, not out of a warehouse in another country.
A rider brings it today
You get a text with a delivery window and a link to track it.
We do not take a percentage of your order. One flat fee per delivery and nothing else, the same on a €30 candle as on a €600 coat. So you can quote your customer one simple delivery price and never revisit it.
And we are not a marketplace. Your customer buys from you, on your own website, at your own price. We never hold their details for ourselves and we will never market to them. You keep the customer.
For shops
You already have the stock. Amazon does not.
Every item on your shelf is hours from your customer, and you are currently quoting them three days. hop closes that gap, and puts a badge on your product pages that tells shoppers you have done it.
- The same fee on every order. Nothing grows with the basket. On a percentage model the charge on a €600 order balloons, and you either absorb it or explain it to the customer. Here the number never moves.
- Invoiced monthly. One invoice, not a card charge on every parcel.
- Outside the city centre we will quote you. It depends on the address and the route, and it is still a flat fee per delivery rather than a cut of the order.
It is a conversion tool, not a delivery cost
You charge your customer for same-day delivery, and you charge a little more than we charge you. So the badge pays for itself on the order that carries it, and what it does on top of that is remove the reason a shopper closes your tab and buys the same thing somewhere it will arrive sooner.
The shopper who leaves because it takes three days never appears in your figures. You do not see that sale, so you cannot miss it. Same-day removes the reason they left.
What you charge your customer
Entirely your decision. You can pass our fee straight on and make it neutral, absorb some of it to drive more uptake, or charge above it and make a margin on deliveries. There is a €19.95 ceiling and a recommendation of around €15. The three approaches, side by side →
No commission. No cut of the order.
We charge you one flat fee per delivery, and we do not take a percentage of anything.
Which also means we are not a marketplace. Your customer buys from you, on your website, at your price, and they stay your customer. We do not sit between you and them, we do not keep their details for ourselves, and we will never market to them. The platforms that take a slice of every order end up owning the relationship you spent years building. That is not the arrangement on offer here.
You have done this before
If you offer Klarna, you already accept that a third party’s badge sits on your product page and carries a promise on your behalf, because it sells more. hop is the same arrangement for the other half of the shopper’s question. One badge answers how they pay. This one answers when they get it.
Cut-off times, exactly
This is the part we will not be vague about, because the badge is worthless the first time it is wrong.
- City centre shops: 2pm. Everything ordered that morning is packed and waiting for collection at 2pm. Not being packed at 2pm. Waiting.
- Anything ordered after 2pm goes next working day, guaranteed. So a shopper who misses same-day still beats the three days they get today.
- Outside the city centre, we agree a collection time with you. It depends where you are and what else is on that route, so we will not put a number on it here and then break it. Talk to us and we will tell you what we can actually do for your address.
What we need from you
- Stock in the shop. Not in a hub, not with a third-party warehouse. If you cannot put your hands on it, the badge cannot promise it.
- Packed and waiting at the collection time. Not packing when the rider arrives. Ready.
- Honest stock levels online. The badge appears against items you say you have. If that data is wrong, the badge lies, and it stops being worth anything to any of us.
What you get
- The badge on your product pages, your checkout and your window.
- A rider collecting from your door, from a courier operation that has run Dublin since 1988.
- Tracking texts sent to your customer in your shop’s name.
- One invoice monthly, not a card charge per parcel.
The one condition
We can take the badge off your site. If same-day stops actually being same-day, the badge has to go, because its value to you depends on shoppers trusting it everywhere they see it. That protects your investment as much as ours.
Starting
The first step is deliberately small: we turn on a same-day rate at your checkout at your price, leave it a month, and look at what shoppers actually chose. If nobody takes it, you have lost nothing. If they do, we build it in properly.

What it costs
One flat fee. Nothing else.
No onboarding fee, no setup charge, no commission and no cut of the order. You pay for deliveries you actually send.
- Nothing to join. No onboarding fee and no setup cost. We switch a same-day rate on at your checkout and that is the whole of it.
- The same fee on every order. Nothing grows with the basket, so the delivery line at your checkout is the same figure every time, whatever is in the bag.
- Invoiced monthly. One invoice at the end of the month, not a card charge on every parcel.
- Outside the city centre we will quote you. It depends on the address and the route, and it is still a flat fee per delivery.
The delivery platforms take a slice of every order and end up owning the relationship you spent years building. That is the arrangement we are deliberately not offering. Your margin is yours.
Three ways to price it, and they are all yours to choose
We charge you the same either way. What your customer sees is entirely your call, and shops take genuinely different approaches to it.
Pass it straight on
Charge your customer roughly what we charge you. Same-day pays for itself and does not touch your margin either way.
Simplest place to start, and where most shops begin.
NeutralAbsorb some of it
Charge less than our fee, or make same-day free over a basket value, and carry the difference yourself.
It costs you the gap and buys you far more uptake. Free over a threshold also turns delivery into a reason to add one more item.
You pay the differenceMake money on it
Charge above our fee, within the €19.95 ceiling, and same-day becomes a small margin line of its own.
Works best where the convenience is worth a premium and the basket is high.
Margin on every deliveryThe price is a dial on demand, not just on margin
This is the part worth thinking about for more than a minute. What you charge decides how many customers choose same-day at all. Price it at the ceiling and a handful will take it. Make it free over €150 and a lot of people will, and every one of them is a sale that might otherwise have gone to a shop that ships tomorrow.
So it is worth moving rather than setting once. Start where you are comfortable, watch what people actually choose, and change it.
Why there is a ceiling at all
We recommend around €15 and shops showing the badge agree not to charge more than €19.95. Being straight about our interest here: the badge only becomes worth having when shoppers recognise it, and that needs volume, so we would rather you priced it keenly. But the ceiling exists for your sake too. A badge that sometimes means €40 teaches shoppers to stop looking for it, and then it is worth nothing to the shop next door either.

Put the badge on your shop.
We start small on purpose. A same-day rate goes live at your checkout at your price, and after a month you decide whether it was worth it. One flat fee per delivery, no commission, and your customer stays yours.
Seven questions. About two minutes.
Before you fill this in, the three things that matter
- You hold the stock. In the shop, on a shelf, where someone can reach it. If your online orders are fulfilled from a warehouse, hop will not work for you yet.
- City centre: packed and waiting at 2pm. Everything ordered that morning is ready for collection at 2pm, not being packed at 2pm. Orders after 2pm go next working day, guaranteed. Outside the city centre we agree a collection time with you instead.
- €9.95 plus VAT per delivery in the city centre, the same on every order, invoiced monthly, never a percentage. Outside the centre we will quote you. What you charge your customer is yours to decide: we recommend around €15, and shops showing the badge agree not to charge more than €19.95.
We reply within two working days, usually the same day.
Please fill in the shop name, your email, and tick the box.

Where is my order?
Every hop delivery sends you a text with a tracking link when the rider collects it. If you have the link, open it. If you have lost it, put your order number in below.
